What Is a Hall Effect Sensor?

In short, if a mobile phone has a hall effect sensor and a magnet built into the leather case, it can perform the above functions, and most smartphones currently have hall sensors.
Why does a mobile phone have this sensor, but the official does not publicize it? There are many reasons.
