EATON entered the Chinese market and established its first joint venture in 1993. Since then, it has rapidly expanded its business in China through acquisitions, joint ventures, and wholly-owned enterprises. In 2004, the company moved its Asia-Pacific headquarters from Hong Kong to Shanghai. The main products include uninterruptible power supply systems, medium-voltage switchgear, electrical automation systems, automotive components, and hydraulic systems.
