TY-OHM Electronic Works Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TY-OHM" or "TYoHM") was established in 1958 as a pioneering resistor manufacturer in Taiwan. It was the first company to produce carbon film and low-end wire wound resistors. In 1970, TY-OHM entered a partnership with JRM to manufacture metal oxide film and high-end wire wound resistors. In 1975, the company collaborated with Kidco to gain the know-how to produce precision metal film resistors with a 1% tolerance. In 1985, TY-OHM developed a resistor network and fusible resistors. In 1992, the company began marketing SMD components, including chip resistors and chip resistor networks, worldwide. From its inception, TY-OHM has prioritized quality systems. The company received "Class A" quality approval from the local government, obtained ISO9002 certification, and was awarded the Philips Lighting Oss award for excellence in quality, delivery, and support. TY-OHM's products are widely used in mobile phones, lighting, power supplies, vehicles, and smart home appliances.
