OpenNCC DK is an open source AI CAM hardware platform equipped with Intel Movidius Myriad X visual processing unit (VPU), which is a low-power system-on-chip (SoC) for drones, smart cameras, VR/AR Deep learning of helmets and other devices and other artificial intelligence vision applications are accelerated. Myriad X will provide ten times the performance of Myriad 2's deep neural network (DNN) with the same power consumption. Myriad X theoretical computing power 4+ TOPS is based on DNN peak throughput exceeding one trillion times per second (TOPS). Myriad X's vector unit is a dedicated SHAVE processor optimized for computer vision workloads. Myriad X also supports the latest LPDDR4.
