FAQ
PCB
1. Could You Tell Me the Maximum Dimensions for Assembling a PCB Board?
We have different sizes for different order types. The specific sizes are:
Economic PCBA
Single PCB Size: 10x10mm - 470x500mm
PCB Panel Size: 10x10mm - 250x250mm
Standard PCBA
Single PCB Size: 70x70mm - 460x500mm
PCB Panel Size: 70x70mm - 250x250mm
2. In a Flex-PCB Design, Which Stiffener Type Do You Support?
PI Stiffener,FR4 Stiffener,Stainless Steel Stiffener,3M Tape, EM Shielding Film
3. How Long Can a PCB Board Be Effectively Utilized?
It commonly lasts 5 years or beyond; however, this varies according to the environment of use.
4. What Is the Value of the FR-4 Dielectric Constant or Relative Permittivity for FR-4 Used in the 1 oz, 2-Layer PCB Board?
It is 4.3 for 2-layer board with thickness of 0.4mm; for the circuit boards with  other thickness, the fr4 dielectric constant is 4.4.
5. Can You Provide Temperature/Fire Class (for Conformity with EN62368-1), Toxic Substances (RoHS 3 Statement), SVHC Statement of My FR-4 Boards Orders?
This certification isn't available on our website.
6. Can I Know the Layer Stack Values for Aluminum Base?
Aluminum base thickness=total thickness-0.1mm.
Dielectric layer thickness: 110um±10um.
7. Can Through-Hole Connectors Be Utilized in an Aluminum PCB to Link to the Copper Layer, or Do They Risk Short-Circuiting with the Aluminum Substrate?
Our aluminum PCBs do not support the use of through-hole components because they may cause a short circuit.
8. What Is the Maximum Temperature That Could Be Used in the Reflow Oven for Soldering Flex PCBs?
280℃, within half an hour.
9. Can You Proceed Without Surface Finishing on the PCB?
Sorry, we don't support it.
10. In a Custom Printed Circuit Board, What Is the Required File Format for the Drill File Extension?
Depending on the PCB design software in use, file extensions such as .drl, .xln, .drd, and .txt are considered acceptable.
11. Our Project Involves Producing a 4-Layer Rigid PCB with a Thickness of 2mm and 2 Oz Copper Thickness on Both the Inner and Outer Layers. Is It Possible to Keep a Track Width and Clearance of 6 Mil?
The minimum trace width is 6.5 mil for 4 layer rigid PCB with 2mm thickness and 2oz copper thickness and the minimum trace clearance is 8 mil. We advise that both width and clearance should be maximized whenever feasible.
12. Hi There! Is It Required for Me to Mirror My PCB Design Before I Upload the Gerber Files, or Do You Take Care of This Automatically? It's a One-Sided PCB. Thanks!
Mirroring isn't needed for one-sided PCBs; however, you can place the design on the top layer.
13. Given That We Can Only Employ Plated Through Holes (PTH) and Not Blind Vias on Four-Layer Circuit Boards, How Do We Achieve Interconnection Between the Mid Layers?
Adding copper connections to the PTHs in both inner and outer layers will allow the PTHs to connect the different layers of the board.
14. In a 2-Layer Flexible PCB, Is the Stiffener Located Between the Two Layers?
The stiffener will be placed on the outer side of the PCB and cannot be integrated within the layers.
15. How Many Times Are Your Flexible PCBs Rated for Flexing? I Need to Choose a Flexible PCB for an Application Involving a Constantly Moving Carriage, and It’s Important to Ensure the Ratings Are Sufficient.
The flex PCBs are rated for more than 150,000 flexes, with a minimum bending radius of thickness times*88.
