FM LTH7R.

LTH7R. is a constant-current/constant-voltage cradle charger IC, primarily designed for single-cell lithium battery charging. No external sense resistor is required, and its internal MOSFET structure eliminates the need for an external reverse diode. LTH7R. can automatically reduce the charge current to limit the die temperature under high power dissipation and elevated ambient temperature conditions. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V, and the charge current can be programmed via a single external resistor. When the float voltage is reached and the charge current drops to 1/10 of the programmed value, LTH7R. automatically terminates the charging process. When the input voltage is removed, LTH7R. automatically enters a low-current mode, drawing less than 2uA from the battery. When LTH7R. enters standby mode, the supply current is less than 25uA. LTH7R. also monitors the charge current, featuring voltage detection and automatic recharge capability, along with a status pin indicating charge termination status and input voltage presence.
