The TPS562202 is a simple, easy-to-use 2A synchronous buck converter in a SOT563 package. The device is optimized to minimize the external components required for operation and to achieve low standby current. This SMPS device employs D-CAP2 mode control, delivering fast transient response and supporting low-ESR output capacitors — including dedicated polymer capacitors and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors — without requiring external compensation components. The TPS562202 operates in ECO mode to maintain high efficiency during light-load operation. The TPS562202 is available in a 6-pin 1.6mm × 1.6mm SOT563 (DRL) package and is rated for a junction temperature range of –40°C to 125°C.

The TPS562202 is a 2A synchronous buck converter. The proprietary D-CAP2 mode control supports low-ESR output capacitors — such as dedicated polymer capacitors and multilayer ceramic capacitors — without requiring complex external compensation networks.
