TPS562219A and TPS563219A are easy-to-use 2A/3A synchronous buck converters in an 8-pin SOT-23 package. Both devices are optimized to minimize external components required for operation and achieve low standby current. These SMPS devices employ D-CAP2™ mode control to provide fast transient response and support low ESR output capacitors such as high-polymer and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors without external compensation components. These devices operate in continuous conduction mode at all times, which reduces output ripple voltage under light load conditions compared to discontinuous conduction mode. TPS562219A and TPS563219A are available in an 8-pin 1.6mm × 2.9mm SOT (DDF) package, rated for an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
