HOLTEK HT42B534-2

The HT42B534-x is a high-performance USB to UART Bridge controller with fully integrated USB and UART interface functionality, designed for applications requiring communication with various types of UART devices. The internal USB interface supports USB 2.0 full-speed mode for PC communication, and a fully integrated high-speed oscillator provides the clock source for both the USB and UART baud rate generator. The baud rate generator supports UART data transmission at baud rates up to 3Mbps.

• Implements USB composite device protocol:
  • Communications Device Class (CDC) for communication and configuration
  • Human Interface Device class (HID) for configuring USB VID, PID, and device description strings
• D+ pin connected to 1.5kΩ pull-up resistor
• Full-duplex UART interface
  • Baud rate up to 3Mbps
  • Up to 128-byte TX buffer and 128-byte RX buffer

    • Parity: odd, even, or none
  • RTS/CTS hardware flow control
• RX pin generates resume signal for remote wake-up request
