Introduction
IP5328P is a multifunctional power management SOC integrating QC2.0/QC3.0 output fast charging protocols, FCP/AFC/SFCP input/output fast charging protocols, MTK PE+ 1.1 & 2.0 output fast charging protocols, USB-C/PD2.0/PD3.0 input/output protocols, USB-C PD3.0 PPS output protocol, BC1.2/Apple/Samsung compatibility, synchronous buck-boost converter, lithium battery charge management, and battery level indication, providing a complete power solution for fast-charging power banks. It supports simultaneous use of four USB ports — USB-A ×2, USB-B, and USB-C. Each port individually supports fast charging; when two or more output ports are used simultaneously, only 5V is supported.
The high integration and rich feature set of the IP5328P require only a single inductor to implement both buck and boost functions, minimizing external components, effectively reducing overall solution size and BOM cost.
The IP5328P's synchronous switching boost system delivers up to 18W output, maintaining efficiency above 90% even at 18W output under low battery voltage. It automatically enters sleep mode under no-load conditions.
The IP5328P's synchronous switching charging system provides up to 5.0A charging current, with built-in IC temperature, battery temperature, and input voltage control loops for intelligent charging current regulation.
The IP5328P features a built-in USB-C & PD2.0/PD3.0 protocol controller.
The IP5328P integrates a 14-bit ADC for accurate battery voltage and current measurement, with ADC data accessible via I2C. A built-in battery gauge algorithm enables accurate state-of-charge reporting. Customizable battery capacity curves allow precise battery level display.
The IP5328P supports 1/2/3/4 LED battery level indication with intelligent display mode detection, lighting function, and button input.
Customizable features include pass-through charging, PD 15V output, and charging for wearable devices.
