Introduction
ESP32-PICO-V3 is a system-in-package (SiP) product based on ESP32 (ECO V3), which provides complete Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions and integrates a 4 MB serial peripheral interface (SPI) flash.
The core of ESP32-PICO-V3 is the ESP32 (ECO V3) chip. ESP32 is a single-chip solution integrating 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dual-mode, using TSMC's ultra-low-power 40-nanometer process. The ESP32-PICO-V3 module has seamlessly integrated all peripheral devices such as crystal oscillators, flash, filter capacitors, and RF matching links into the package, and can work without peripheral components. At this time, the assembly and testing of the module are completed at the SiP level, so ESP32-PICO-V3 can greatly reduce the complexity of the supply chain and improve the management efficiency.
ESP32-PICO-V3 features a compact size, high performance, and low power consumption, making it suitable for any space-constrained or battery-powered devices, such as wearables, medical devices, sensors, and other IoT devices.
Compared with other ESP32 series chips, ESP32-PICO-V3 adds the GPIO20 pin. In addition, considering the security performance of the chip, the flash pins DI, DO, /HOLD, and /WP are not led out.
